Christian SudlandTheoretically, no US citizen can get PRC passport before the age of 16 because he or she cannot get the US citizenship renouncement certificate required by the Chinese consulate.

Christian SudlandIOC only requires a valid passport copy submitted and recognised by the application country. It does not perform check de jure.
